EMU Ventilation and Cooling Monitoring Unit

EMU Ventilation and Cooling Monitoring Unit

Project Overview

This monitoring unit is designed for the ventilation and cooling subsystem of Electric Multiple Units (EMUs). It continuously collects and transmits temperature, vibration, and other key operational parameters to the train control system, ensuring safe and stable operation.

Project Summary

As a critical subsystem controller, the unit required exceptional precision and reliability under demanding railway standards. Leveraging years of engineering experience, TronixV completed the full design, prototyping, and type testing process within just two months, achieving successful certification and customer approval.

Product Development

Although the functionality is straightforward, the unit had to pass dozens of rigorous railway qualification tests, including high/low temperature cycles, ESD, dielectric strength, humidity cycling, vibration, and surge endurance.

Through robust design methodology and accelerated validation, TronixV ensured the unit met long-term operational reliability under harsh train environments.

Manufacturing

The monitoring unit has been delivered in batches exceeding 100 units, integrated with customer sensor systems, and is operating reliably on EMU trains with excellent field performance and stability.
