The unmanned medicine dispensing cabinet is an innovative smart healthcare retail device that enables self-service medication dispensing and remote prescription fulfillment. It represents a new business model in pharmaceutical retail, providing users with convenient, 24/7 access to essential medicines.
Project Overview
The client aimed to establish a new pharmaceutical retail model but lacked an in-house product development team. TronixV acted as the client’s end-to-end R&D and manufacturing partner, delivering the prototype within just 2 months and achieving mass production in 4 months, significantly accelerating time-to-market.
Product Development
TronixV’s engineering team carried out:
- Industrial design and enclosure development
- Main control board design (Android RK3288)
- Motor driver board design
- Internal wiring and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) To meet the client’s strict cost requirements, TronixV also conducted cost-optimized design and expanded the supply chain network to reduce the overall system cost.
Manufacturing
For mass production, TronixV managed not only the large-scale manufacturing but also the complex logistics and transportation of oversized equipment.
