Patellomalacia Therapy Device – Hospital Edition

Patellomalacia Therapy Device – Hospital Edition

Project Overview

The medical foundation of this product is based on the research achievements of renowned orthopedic expert Professor Ye Qibin. Initially, the client worked with a university professor to develop and commercialize a device, but due to design flaws and reliability issues, the product failed in the market, with nearly all units returned and substantial financial loss. TronixV was then brought in to redevelop the device from the ground up, ultimately delivering a reliable solution and further iterating a hospital-grade version tailored for clinical use.

Services Provided

TronixV completely redesigned the device, covering:

  • Industrial and structural design
  • Hardware and software development
  • Packaging design and sample production
  • Reliability, EMC, and electrical safety testing
  • Full CFDA compliance support, including documentation, production license, and sales license approval

Client Feedback

Since its launch, TronixV has delivered over 200 hospital-grade units, now deployed in rehabilitation departments of leading tertiary hospitals across China. The project helped the client achieve its first commercial success and build a sustainable business, solidifying a long-term partnership with TronixV.
