Project Overview
The onboard Ethernet switch is an industrial-grade communication board designed for use within EMU communication cabinets. It enables high-speed, reliable data transmission between train control and information systems, ensuring stable operation under demanding railway environments.
Project Summary
Following the customer’s technical specifications, TronixV completed the product design within one month, achieved type testing and onboard validation in three months, and began mass production shortly thereafter.
To date, over 1,000 units have been delivered and are performing reliably in service.
Product Development
The switch was engineered to meet strict railway standards for vibration resistance, EMC performance, and temperature/humidity endurance.
Comprehensive reliability testing—including high/low temperature cycles, surge, ESD, vibration, dielectric strength, and humidity tests—ensured long-term operational stability and compliance with railway certification requirements.
Manufacturing
Manufactured under a fully ISO9000-compliant process, each unit undergoes rigorous quality and functional verification before delivery.
The product has been successfully deployed across multiple EMU platforms, demonstrating exceptional reliability and consistency in daily operation.
